If Someone Bookmark Twitter Will Increase Your Like

Twitter introduced several new functions and rules when Elon Musk took over the microblogging service in October of the year before. Twitter has introduced its Bookmark number feature. It is a measure of how many times the tweet has been bookmarked.

The feature was launched on Thursday and has since caused a divide among social media users. While some users have been pleased with the Bookmark number, others believe that it created analysis too complicated in the application. Find out how to view the options on Twitter.

Twitter introduces the “Bookmark Count” feature

The bookmark feature has been accessible on the platform as of 2018 and can be used to revisit tweets in the near future. The Bookmark count statistics now display the number of times your tweet was saved by various people on Twitter.

“We are awestruck by Bookmarks for saving tweets to return to in the future. Today, on iOS you’ll be able to be able to see the total number of times that a Tweet has been saved to the Tweet’s details.” Twitter’s official handle tweeted on the 17th of March.

This Bookmark count will be displayed with the likes, number of retweets, and retweets. It will also and views. But, unlike other analytics such as Google Analytics, the Bookmark count will be kept private; therefore, you won’t be able to find out who has saved your tweets.

The number of available Bookmarks will be available for the individual user. “Don’t be concerned, however- your Bookmarks remain private. We won’t reveal who has added a tweet on the Bookmarks,” Twitter wrote.

How can I see the Bookmark the Count of a Tweet?

To determine the Bookmark count for a specific tweet, follow these steps:

  • Select a tweet to see the Bookmark number.
  • Tap View Tweet Activity by clicking the icon for analytics at the lower.
  • The page will now display the number of people who have engaged with the tweet and the number of occasions it’s been saved.

The feature is currently available only to iOS people only. However, the feature is set to be released to all web and Android users. Musk first announced in January of this year.

A user inquired whether he could view the number of times his tweet was bookmarked, and the CEO said, “Yes, that will be added in the upcoming release. In addition, if your tweet has been bookmarked, it will be considered a “quiet similar to” and increase your “likes counter.”

The Feature has received mixed Responses on Twitter from users

Bookmark count can be helpful for those looking to see their tweets’ effectiveness. Creators and companies often use it to assess whether their posts proved to apply to their customers.

However, there are some users who are dissatisfied with the function, saying that it’s not necessary adding another statistic to an already-cluttered analytics section on tweets. Women have also shared that they were shocked to discover the number of times that their images were bookmarked on the site.

“Twitter bookmark discussion. I’m not quite sure,” wrote a user as another commented, “I saw somebody post photos of their daughter, and they had 200 bookmarks. You’ll never see me sharing photos on this app.”
